There's probably a million photographers that would say if you're trying to build a high value business don't give people discounts because it "devalues your work" and yes it's partly true. Yes, part of my brain is saying don't do it. But i'm listening to the part of my heart saying go for it, I was reading the bible and God spoke to me that we are supposed to be helping people through the gifts he gave us. For me part of that is photography which I believe is so important, early motherhood brings so many changes between your child growing and changing so quickly and you as a mother finding yourself more and changing/growing. I have so many people say they love my work but can't afford it. I can't just give every person that says that a random discount. I value my work and I want every person to value it as well. My prices don't just reflect the time and money that goes into each shoot but the dedication, thought, love and creativity I pour into every session. I enter each session with knowledge, warmth and adaptability. So with keeping all the value, but making this more attainable for everyone I have a few options for you!
