Just a mama of 2 under 2 with a passion to help other mamas through the sacred times motherhood brings.

Hi, my name is Kaily. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine, I started my photography business when I was 14 and tried just about every type from landscapes to weddings, but motherhood was always my favorite even before I was a mama myself. Most people say they loose themselves in motherhood. But motherhood is where I found myself. I had my first baby when I was 19, when I was a teenager I always imagined myself having my babies at home. I’m not quite sure where I got this idea, honestly it was probably just intuition and I’ve heard allot of women say that your baby guides you to the way they need to be birthed if you connect with them so maybe it was that. I learned so much about birth. My husband and I knew we wanted babies close together, so I had my second 18 months later. When I found out I was pregnant we hadn’t fully decided on how we were going to do the birth, but I learned more and more about birth, and physiological birth. It really changed my mindset on so many things, we had a wild pregnancy and beautiful unassisted birth. My passion truly lies in supporting and capturing the beautiful raw moments that encompass motherhood. Mamas deserve to know what birth and motherhood can be, they deserve space to be held postpartum, and they deserve to have photos on the wall that capture their story of motherhood. Mamas deserve so much that they don’t get and I want to help change that! I like to approach motherhood by leaning into holistic, ancestral, and sovereign practices. Getting down to the root of the issue and treating that not just bandaging it. The way a mother takes care of herself and the energy she has affects the entire family. That’s why it’s so important to take care of yourself and allow others to support you, especially in the sacred time of pregnancy and postpartum.
